Tiffany
Anne Charters, LLC
The Tiffany Anne is a 2009 26’ Cape
Horn with Twin 200 Yamahas and all the latest electronics including
weather updates. All Coast Guard required safety gear is on board, and
it is very important to Captain Phil that you have a safe as well as fun
trip. Captain Phil Wurm is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain
who has been running boats all his life. The captain has been fishing
for over 40 years and cut his teeth on the South Shore of Long Island,
where he fished for many years out of the Moriches Inlet and the
surrounding area. He has been fishing the Sandy Hook area for the last
20 years: first in his own boats, then as a mate and now running his own
operation.
We will fish for all species in
season, but Striped Bass is the Captains main target. May and June are
your best bet with the first and second weeks of July showing some
promise as well. First time Anglers are always welcome as well as
children, for those that are faint of heart, the Captain offers special River
Trips in May and June.
In July and August we will be Fluke
fishing or Bluefish chumming. Take your pick, and when September rolls
around we will be Weak Fishing, Blue fishing, or Fluke and Sea Bass
together on the rough bottom out in the ocean. False Albacore may also
make a showing at this time of year, and we are equipped with light
spinning gear for those speed demons. In October, we will see more
Albies, Sea Bass, Porgies and Bluefish Trips as well. The year will wind
down in November with Striped Bass.
Book a trip NOW, and see what you’ve
been missing out on. Captain Phil works very hard to put you on fish and
is not afraid to burn gas like some other guys. A $100 deposit is
required to hold a date and is refundable when the Captain is forced to
cancel due to inclement weather. 48 hours notice to cancel a trip is
required or the party forfeits their deposit. No show also forfeit
their deposit.
We use a wide range of ways to fish
including: live bait, trolling, chunking, jigging and clamming. The
Captain will decide the day of the trips and which style of fishing will
be done based on what has been working best.
Trips are for 1-4 anglers, and some
trips we may have a mate on board. However it will be the Captains
decision and not the parties.
Captain Phil practices catch and
release; however, if you catch it, it is your fish and you decide what
to do with it. If you take a nice picture of catch and release, you are
happy as well as the fish, you can still have a mount made as long as we
take measurements,
What to Bring
Foul weather gear, your lunch,
drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses and a camera.
Also, a small cooler to bring your
fish home in. Don’t bring a suitcase full of stuff, DRUGS or hard
liquor!!! A few beers are fine! Anyone seen with drugs
on the boat will be returned to the dock and the party will loose their
money and trip.
Included in your trip is all the
gear and bait you need. In addition, please note that your fish, will be
filleted and bagged back at the dock.
Keep in mind that Tiffany Anne is a
center console and a boat with no shelter is not for everyone. This is
hard core fishing and not a pleasure cruise.
Thanks & Tight Lines
